Organic Object Drawing

The pinecone itself is very brittle but it is very smooth to touch the surface. It looks like the petals or what have you spiral downward from the top, so it's not a random design.  The petals ro whatever you call them flare out but only a little bit. They almost bloom like a flower because the flare is so delicate and slight.  The cardboard however has a heavier feel to it but is still very smooth to touch.  It does not bend or even flare like the pinecone does and is very difficult to bend at all.  I suppose that's one of things I'll need to sacrifice for the sculpture unless I think of something snazzy.
